Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

... so BLAH?! but yeah, nothing new. felt like typing before... cutting more grass ._. now let's go into digression by rambling in regression... or not!

AN is coming. the drive for AN is dying, yo, it's kinda scary. it's like "oh". i think the excitement will hype up like, during the week of. so, yeahhh. will make sure to take loads of pics and... actually do stuff. for example, going to panels OR SOMETHING. ***VA panelz & karaoke ftw*** and bugging all my peeps @ artist alleyyy~! and cosplay with mah buddehs <3 and... maybe drinking if there is any sort of money on me XP... but yes, i'm typing the hype. it will appear sooner or later.

watched another random movie; tetsuo the iron man. that movie is crazy. crazy crazy crazy. now i know where machine girl's drill bra reference may or may not have come from. to sum up the movie: first half is all about screwing, the second half, mind-screwing. but it's still an interesting film open up to some crazy interpretations. and considering it being in the 80s, the effects are quite awesome and the music is yum. people also have referenced this to eraserhead, which i have watched only a bit of a while back (i remember being too scared to watch it)... i will start that soon or later!

hmm, what else. job finding get! w00t w00t. my epic journey of employment that is preferably not a fast-food restaurant will commence. will aim high and then regress on if all if failing. and when the monies rolling, i need to get me a copy of LHC, 'cause if it's managed to capture my obsession for a few months... it means something x_X"
