Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

The Theme is "Pinku pink Friends", they are a group of OC's made of our 3 characters: Chisa, Missu and Chiio.
The description of the group is: a group of friends, like sisters, they are very close and insaparable friends.
This contest starts on June 10th and the deadline is on August 10th! All entries need to be sent to the

Music Is My Inspiration ContestWell guys I've decided to start my own contest, because I had awesome feedback on the idea ^_^
It'll be my first contest that I've held...EVER! So it's very exciting :3
So, about the theme of the contest. Well whenever I've felt down and blue because I've been slapped upside the head with an art block, I like to wallow in self pity and blast my favourite tunes XD (LOL) It's extremely therapeutic :P and it really does help to inspire me with new ideas :D.
A perfect example would be my OC's Medi-kate & Black Nova, both created from inspiration from music.

first and foremost, V6.... o_o...

in so much artblock, it is sad. i need to draw my arse out of it, srsly. =_= my 'style' is all over the place, but oh well... it reflects the craziness of moi. eek.

so what to say about summer... many things? i don't want it to end? i am now jobless? hehehe? but besides that, some good times spent with my lufflies. need to spend more times with peeps, yo. one lesson learnt, never karaoke 'til 5am... you will want to vomit at that point... but, ain't karaoke love?  

school course selections... urk, get away. must get away from it. and onto more digression.. GTA4OMGAH... that game punishes n00bs (aka moi) severely. police always after me over the littlest of things... thus i have to kill all my victims in some form of secluded alley. violent, yesiree.

hmm, and guitars~! i can't play for shizz. i grovel to my friend, yo. much luffsh. <333 but i can half-ass play dir en grey's aoi tsuki with it XD fingers are all bloody and dead o_o

and more with music... i have found a love for ambience.. well, a crazy love as i always loved it. Escapism vol1 from various ambience-y artists... i would so buy that album, yo. it is that good. sleep early rise from weatherman and french movie from loner are notable pieces of pwnage, but all rule. don't mind me

and uh, what else... my english and ability to make flowing, comprehensible paragraphs have been thrown out the window. art block!!! NEED TO GO TO WONDERLAND, BUYING A SEASON PASS TO GO ONCE IS WORTH NOTHING! ..ahem, DARK KNIGHHTTTTT!!! ...must see that, yesiree. everyone go watch, and we'll have an intriguing discussion afterwards XD
