Busy. That is all.
Ok, that's too little to rant. I've made small attempts to at least use capital letters where needed as a part of my delusional new year's resolution. Weird, I know. But at least it's more of a plausible resolution.
So what to ramble... I've watched Black Swan a long while back. My thoughts? I shouldn't have waaay overhyped myself. Or I should have actually watched other Aronofsky films to get the gist of what to expect. Either way. Now onto spoilerific rambling.
By all means, I'm not saying it was a bad film, looking back, I did enjoy it. Black Swan can be summed up as a ballerina's dark sexual descent into madness, in order to perfect the role. While it's to be a metaphorical journey, I find that the metaphors... seemed too literal? I think the audience can tell from her progressive change through her actions and behaviour, but as for things like y'know, physically turning into a swan could be portrayed more creatively? Or perhaps more surrealistically. I don't know, that's my opinion.
In some respect it could be perfect-blue meets fight club, but still had it's funny parts, surprisingly enough. And... that is all I can say for now. Enjoyable, but I've got to stop overhyping myself.
As for other things... Oh yes, bald-ass Kyo made me rofl. A lot. To make myself clear, I will say that I resulted in laughter due to my personal preference of Kyo not looking like some thug-gangsta. No worries, I still somewhat blindly worship the man. "Somewhat blindly" because I realize I don't have to fucking like everything he does to prove that I'm a "true" fan; something that is often overlooked. Thus I will mindlessly ramble onto this interesting debate on diru fandom.
Apart from not knowing many who has a crazed obsession with Dir en grey, I usually do not actively participate in such extreme communities/fandoms. Mainly because voicing an opinion that deviates from the masses are highly frowned upon. But beware, we have segregation of fandoms: old vs. new vs. true. So watch out where you tread waters, all fandoms will complain and attack eachother ._. And I ain't gonna be touching on hatedom, thank you very much.
Being a fan for about 6 years, I'm probably still considered n00b (although I've been introduced to their Gauze - Kisou works). I've pretty much started backwards from Missa (-gasp- why not La: Sadie's? uh, I like lu:ciel?) to Withering to Death back then. I am up to date with the impressive Uroboros (album-wise), but my favourite era will always be Kisou. Note that it's my -preference-, and not me saying "omgah, their VK was THE BEST. they suck now". And although I do still have a fondness of their visual days, complaining about it won't bring it back. And besides, it will just have 'true' fans biting my fucking head off.
If the topic is about the band looking like silly ass clowns with weird music to looking like disheveled homeless men making a bunch of noise, so be it. "But it should be about the music" <- yes it should. But people are shallow to some extent, so it's only natural to react to a look. But I guess it's all about how you present yourself to the situation, in which it may/may not cause unnecessary conflict.
So what am I getting at? I have no clue anymore. To mindless fans, you can convey your preference without sounding stupid, and to elitists, the band gives less of a shit about your self-righteous condescending rebuttals. "Everyone is entitled to an opinion, so shut up." I'm sure there are other types of fans out there, but this is just my two cents on the extremes. So where do I fit in the fandom? I'm a bit of both. Hypocrisy much? Only when I state it publicly. And this is why I don't take part in the community
I have no idea why I was compelled to randomly rant like that, but... whatever. It may have sounded more angry than it should have. Meh. People can ignore it, it was good ranting exercise for me.
Other than that, I am behind in everything~
So it's time to play ketchup. Silly puns, indeed. ♡ ♡ ♡

lol crazy-fan rantings are amusing~
And same, I knew very few individuals that like Jrock~
( yes, i know how insanely slow i reply ;x; )
and indeed, fan rantings are also amusing~ as i know very few people who know/like jrock in general, so it's fun to talk about it whenever the chance. although i can get really insane depending on the band, esp. diru ;x;
